Important Notice to Parents: Before initialing below, please carefully read the following guidelines for understanding student bus services.

1. Acknowledgement of Eligibility Standards and Policies: Parents must acknowledge that they have reviewed the eligibility standards and policies for student transportation services. They must also confirm that their child/children will use the provided vehicle on a regular basis.

2. Loss of Bus Privileges for Non-Usage: If a student does not use the bus service for more than 10 days without a valid excuse during the school year, their bus privileges will be forfeited. Valid excuses may include medical reasons, family emergencies, or other circumstances deemed valid by the school administration.

3. Opportunity for Students on Waiting List: In cases where our bus service privileges are lost due to non-usage, the school may offer this opportunity to students that are on the waiting list.

4. Supervision for Young Students: Adult supervision is required for students under the 5th grade during drop-off. If there is no parent or a guardian present at the drop-off location, the bus will take the student(s) back to the school. Also, If this occurs on three occasions, it could lead to cancelling your bus service privileges.

5. Presence at Bus Stop: Students must be at the designated bus stop 5-8 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time.

6. Seat Availability Disclaimer: Making this application does not guarantee a seat for your student.

7. Announcement of Eligible Students: The list of students who are eligible for school bus service, along with necessary information such as route number, bus stop location, etc., will be announced during the week starting August 12th, 2024
8. Application Order: Student eligibility for bus service will be determined based on the chronological order of application submissions.

9. Priority Criteria: Priority for bus service will be given to students based on their bus attendance records from the current school year. This ensures fairness and efficiency in allocating seats for the next academic year.

10. Bus Service Interruptions: There may be occasions when the bus service is interrupted due to factors such as mechanical issues or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, it is the responsibility of the parents to arrange for the drop-off and pick-up of their child. The school does not accept any liability for such interruptions or their consequences.

11. Assignment of Bus and Bus Stop: Students are required to use the assigned bus for transportation to and from school. They are not permitted to use a different bus. Additionally, students must disembark at the assigned bus stop designated for their route. Deviations from these assignments may result in disruptions to the bus service and compromise safety protocols. Therefore, adherence to these guidelines is mandatory.

12. Additionally, please note that if you have more than one child who will require bus transportation, individual applications must be submitted for each child separately. This ensures that we can accurately allocate seats and provide the best service for each student.

13. Modification of “Bus Protocol”: The school reserves the right to modify this protocol based on evolving needs and circumstances. Such modifications may be necessary to ensure the continued safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of the bus service. Any changes made will be communicated promptly to parents and stakeholders to maintain transparency and compliance with the updated protocol. Parents acknowledge and accept these modifications upon their implementation. By implementing these modifications, we aim to ensure the efficient and effective use of bus services while prioritizing the safety and well-being of all students.

14. Request for Transportation Service: Parents and/or legal guardians must formally request transportation services for the 2024–25 school year for their children. This request signifies their agreement to abide by the rules and regulations outlined in this protocol.
