On Thursday, April 7th, K-4th grade students and their families participated in our annual Family Literacy Nig
This year’s theme was the GROOVY 70s and families got to participate in a variety of activities that focused on building literacy skills in the K-4th grades. Some of the literacy stations featured included: Rhyming Bingo, Sight Word Twister, Psychedelic Sentence Scramble, and Read-Alouds. Students were encouraged to visit a variety of literacy stations to earn a stamp on their reading club card. At the end of the night students turned in their completed cards to receive a free book along with other treats!
A great time was had by all!
